Thieves smashed a car’s window and made off with clothes and a camera bag in Stow Bedon.

The break-in took place between 11.45am and 3.30pm on Sunday at the Great Eastern Pingo Trail car park off the A1075.

The incident saw an orange Kia Picanto broken into after a back passenger side window was smashed. A bag of clothes and a camera bag containing a lens and various memory cards.

The car park was very busy at the time and police would like to hear from anyone who may have spotted any suspicious behaviour in the area.

Witnesses are asked to contact PC Andy Barnes at Norfolk Constabulary 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

  • Just dont leave anything in your cars full stop!. I walk my dog in our local wodland area twice a day and there is no way in this world I would leave anything on view! You just do not know. Something such as a jumper which may be trivial to you or I, Is something to make money from for thieves! These beauty spot areas are a magnet as the thieves know people will be gone for half an hour or so at least. I know we dont like to think we live in an area with thieves, but unfortunately we all do!.
