Thieves broke down back door to steal copper piping from empty house

Copper piping was stolen from a house in Wellesley Road, Great Yarmouth, on the evening of February 3.

Police were called to the unoccupied home owned by Flagship Housing after a neighbour noticed water leaking from the premises and saw the back door had been kicked in. Thieves damaged floors and the ceiling to access to the pipes.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to call PC Dylan Thomas at Great Yarmouth on 101.
