Burglars have taken £4,000 in cash and an estimated £1,500 worth of scrap metal from five businesses in Thetford after a spate of break-ins.
The thieves forced entry to the rear yard of a premises in Roman Way, and four other units in Lodge Way between Saturday and Monday.
Two of the premises have reported items being stolen, with one having £4,000 in cash taken.
The burglars caused damage to doors, windows and locks while breaking in, and fire extinguishers were let off in three of the premises.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area over the weekend, or who has any information about these incidents.
