Thieves cut cables and leave residents with internet blackout

Thieves have caused £5,000 of damage and left residents without internet access after cutting through vital cables.

Police in Forest Heath are looking for information after attempted thefts in Cricks Road, West Row and Wamil Road, Mildenhall left users offline on Monday and Tuesday.

In both cases offenders lifted manhole covers and cut through cables.
