The Thetford furniture and electrical store, on Minstergate, has been closed since February 3 while cosmetic changes were made.

The popular charity shop, which celebrated its 10th anniversary last December, has been redecorated, recarpeted, new LED lights have been installed and parts of the ceiling have been changed.

To mark the opening tomorrow at 10am, the town crier Mike Wabe will be proclaiming the event and the mayor Denis Crawford will also be in attendance.

Store manager Eric Dinar said: “So many people have been outside knocking on our door and asking if and when they can come in.

“It is a massive opportunity to increase the sales and the funding for the British Heart Foundation.

“It is a challenge for the team.”

Around 15 volunteers help out at the shop.
