A rapper from Thetford has been getting a taste of the big time after playing Hyde Park and Wembley Arena in the same week.
Franko Fraize has been making noise in the music world for the last two years, and released his latest video, Underdog, on Friday.
And on Saturday Franko hit the big time as he played at Hyde Park as part of a reunion gig for The Libertines.
He packed 350 people into a tent at the festival site on a bill that also included Spiritualized, The Rifles, Maximo Park and Reverend and the Makers.
He admitted he is “making the most” of the experience.
“I didn’t know what to expect to be honest. They took me on to the site, and took me to my own trailer. I thought “go on, Franko”.
“I thought we might get a couple of hundred watching us play because we were in a little tent, but people were pouring in and loving it.
“Later on I was watching The Enemy’s set by the side of the stage and it felt like a real big deal,” he said.
That performance is set to be followed up tonight, with Franko on the bill to perform with Misha B, Professor Green and Conor Maynard for Rock Assembly 2014 at Wembley Arena.
He said the shows had fulfilled his ambitions for the year.
“We had a few targets at the start of the year which were to get on Radio 1, get on Soccer AM, and play a festival.
“We’ve done them all and things are going so well,” he said.
