The countdown to Christmas is well under way, and while most families across the country settle for trees and tinsel, one Norfolk family is taking their festive decorations to the next level.
This winter, Fulmerstone Close in Thetford will play host to an incredible display of Christmas lights, courtesy of husband and wife duo Peter and June Daw.
But the couple have tough competition from the Sutton's on Sturston Close across town, who take three months to put their decorations up every year.
Since June's father sadly passed away, the couple have honoured his passion for Christmas lights by creating a winter wonderland every year in their own front garden.
The extravagant decorations have attracted a great deal of attention across the region over the 22 years they've upheld the tradition.
The couple said: 'We have people coming from near and far to view the display… we have even been on TV and in Thetford Council competitions.
'We have had people saying they used to come when they were little and are now bringing their little ones.'
The display has grown more spectacular each year and this Christmas the festivities will include a giant 'head in the hole' cut-out of Frozen's Olaf the Snowman, where visitors can pose for photos, and a Santa's sleigh for children to enjoy.
In addition to spreading Christmas cheer, the Fulmerstone Close festive display also helps raise money for charity.
The couple added: 'We don't do it for charity but have asked people if they wish to donate, donate to Ronald McDonald at McDonald's charity as it's for a good cause.'
