The X Factor is holding mobile auditions at Epic Studios, in Magdalen Street, in Norwich tomorrow from 10am and people can just turn up and audition for a chance to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Leona Lewis, Little Mix and Alexandra Burke.

Linda Thursby, Epic Studios part owner, said: “We’re very excited to be hosting these auditions. They are the first phase selection so we’re not expecting Simon Cowell but I am sure there will be a lot of interest from talented performers all over Norfolk. Who knows? It could be the start of a fantastic journey for someone.”

The X Factor mobile auditions last came to Norwich in May 2012 when crowds of people hoping for a shot of superstardom gathered outside the Forum. This time around Norwich is one of 34 locations The X Factor team is visiting with its mobile audition van to search for people to appear on the 2014 version of the show.

The X Factor website said: “With so many auditions taking place this year, if you’ve ever wanted to audition for the X Factor, now is the time to do it. Whether you’ve never auditioned before, auditioned before but not got a break, or if you’ve already got a manager - we want to hear from you!”

Those who make it through to TV show later this year will face a judging panel that includes Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell. • The X Factor auditions are at Epic Studios,in Magdalen Street, Norwich tomorrow from 10am until 4.30pm.
