Thrill-seekers and families alike are in for a treat this spring as the Mega Fun Park comes to the Norfolk Showground, located in Costessey to the west of Norwich, from Saturday May 6 to Sunday, 21 May.

Garry Evans, co-owner of the family-run business Eventive Funtime, said: 'The Giant Observation Wheel will be the focus point of the event which is a huge mobile theme park.

'It is the UK's tallest mobile wheel and is fitted with a wheelchair accessible gondola to ensure that everyone can ride this fantastic attraction.'

Other rides include the Speed XXL Booster, Waltzer, Dodgems, Twister, Ski Jump, and a huge array of children's rides and inflatables.

Wristbands cost £7.99 for unlimited riding at the Theme Park during a session, and are bought from the ticket booths at the front entrance of the Showground.

Weekday sessions run from 4-8pm and weekends 11-3pm, 3-6pm and 6-9pm.

The park will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Vicki Blake, Norfolk Showground Events and Show Manager, said: 'We're delighted to welcome the Mega Fun Park to the Norfolk Showground this May.

'There will be a host of fun activities, including theme park rides, a new 35m high observation wheel and character days on Saturdays and Sundays, making it a great day out for the whole family this Spring!'
