Police in Lowestoft are appealing for information after a teenager was robbed in an alleyway on Wednesday night.

The male teenager, who was with a female teenager, was walking along the alleyway which joins Love Road and Ethel Road, coming from the direction of Yeovil Road, at about 10.45pm last night when the pair were approached by two men.

The male victim’s bicycle was taken before he was grabbed by one of the robbers and pushed against a fence.

A metal object was then pressed against his neck and the rucksack he was wearing was taken by the second robber, who then searched the victim’s pockets and took his wallet, keys and Iphone.

The male victim was given back his wallet, before he was threatened, and told to leave.

Both teenagers then fled the scene and called the police, who then carried out “extensive enquiries” in the area to try and find the robbers.

Neither victim received injuries as a result of the incident.

The bicycle was found in the alleyway.

The robbery suspects were a white male and a black male.

Anyone with information should contact Suffolk Police on 101.
