More than 160 properties in Norwich suffered a power cut this afternoon.
A spokesman for UK Power Networks said: “Our engineers attended site to restore power to 162 customers in the Rouen Road area of Norwich this afternoon.
“Customers would have seen an interruption to power at around 4.20pm following third party cable damage in the area.
“Power was restored to all customers after an hour.
“We understand how difficult it can be to be without power and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Meanwhile, overhead wire problems have disrupted scheduled train journeys from Norwich to London Liverpool Street.
Greater Anglia said a normal service is expected to resume at around 8pm.
In the meantime, people can take trains from Norwich to Ipswich, where a bus can take passengers to Colchester for trains to London Liverpool Street.
