There’s still time to enter a team into a charity Halloween-themed quiz.

Teams of six are invited to enter into the Mayor’s Halloween Quiz in Great Yarmouth next week.

A charity Halloween-themed quiz night will take place at the Furzedown Hotel, in North Drive, Great Yarmouth on Tuesday, October 31, at 7pm.

The quiz will be held in aid of the charities that the Mayor of Great Yarmouth, Cllr Kerry Robinson-Payne, has chosen to support during her special year – these are: Heart 2 Heart Norfolk, the Cinnamon Trust and Palliative Care East, the charity behind the Louise Hamilton Centre.

The mayor said: “Quiz nights are always popular and I thought that a Halloween-themed quiz night would be a fun and slightly different way of supporting these great causes. As this is taking place on Halloween itself, I am hoping that some people will come in fancy dress - but I’m hoping we don’t get trick-or-treated!”

Booking in advance is essential. The ticket price is £10 per person, which includes a bangers and mash supper. Email Laura Goodman on laura.goodman@great-yarmouth.gov.uk or call 01493 846125 to book.
