Firefighters were called this afternoon after a taxi in a seaside town was alight.

One crew from Sheringham was alerted to Mill Road, Cromer, just after 3.40pm and left the scene at 4pm.

A Norfolk Fire Service spokesman said the vehicle on fire was a taxi but no-one was injured.

No other emergency services were called and the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
