Several bunches of flowers have been attached to metal railings on Ormesby Road, as friends and family visit the scene to pay tribute to the female pedestrian who died.

Emergency services, including the East Anglian Air Ambulance, were called to the road at 4pm after the pedestrian was struck by a single decker bus.

Neighbours said they heard the air ambulance landing at the nearby holiday park and could see paramedics attending to the casualty, described as a young girl.

Police have not released any further details of the deceased.

Ormesby Road was shut for several hours as an investigation was carried out.

Police would like to speak to anyone who believes they may have witnessed the incident. Call the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Norfolk Constabulary on 101.
