Motorists are facing delays this morning on the A140 in Norfolk and Suffolk after reports of fallen trees.
Police are currently directing traffic at Long Stratton after a large tree fell onto power lines at 8.30am.
UK Power Networks has been called, and traffic is moving slowly past the scene.
The A140 was also partially blocked by a fallen tree at Brome, near the Brome Grange Hotel, but this has been cleared.
Earlier this morning, drivers were disrupted by a fallen tree across the road at the Dickleburgh Roundabout. This was cleared by 8.50am.
To the west of the district, the A1066 has been blocked since 6am between Thetford and Garboldisham after a car hit a telegraph pole.
The B1111 at East Harling is also blocked near the doctors surgery after a telegraph pole came down.
There were reports of power outages in Starston, near Harleston, and Hempnall, and traffic lights are not working at the Elveden crossroads.
Winds were dying down from about 9.30am today however, with skies beginning to clear and forecasters are predicting the worst of the weather to have passed by 11am.
