The founder of Amstrad first tweeted 'Flying up to Gt Massingham today for Lunch at the Dabbling Duck' in the morning.

At lunchtime he updated his 3,321,820 followers, telling them: 'Great lunch at The Dabbling Duck in Gt Massingham. The place was packed out great service.'

However, the peer's visit was tinged with sadness.

He shared a photo of a toad alert sign in the village, and told his global audience: 'In Great Massingham seems they are worried about the toads. Regretfully there are a few flattened on the road.'

It was not the first time Lord Sugar has visited the pub, which opened in 2006.

In September 2012, he described a lunch there as 'great'.
