Specialist divers from Norfolk have been called to assist with the search for a missing man in Bedfordshire.

Police have called on the help of Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service to help find Neil Devlin from Leighton Buzzard.

The 36-year-old was last seen on New Year’s Day.

Det Insp Zara Brown, from Bedfordshire Police said concern was growing for Mr Devlin and search officers and divers from the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service would be undertaking further searches of the river bank and river in Leighton Buzzard today.

Mr Devlin is a white man with mild learning difficulties, 5ft 2 inches to 5ft 5 inches tall, of a small/slim build, with short ginger hair and a pale complexion. He was last seen wearing a dark anorak style jacket with a hood, a dark top and jeans.
