A Norwich gymnast due to take part in August’s Special Olympics National Games sacrificed his signature hair-do to raise money for the region’s team.
Shane Baxter, 18, will be heading to the games in Sheffield representing the Eastern region, along with 28 others from Norfolk.
But when he heard Special Olympics Norfolk needed to raise £15,000 to help pay for transport, accommodation and kit, he decided to brave the shave to do his bit.
Hayley, from Affinity Hair Design, Chedgrave, did the honours and Shane is set to raise over £700.
