Primary school pupils have held their own Race for Life event to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Every pupil from Reception up to Year 6 at Southwold Primary School took part in the fundraiser, with some staff members and parents also joining in.
Held on Southwold Common, the event saw youngsters completing a one mile run, with medals handed out to pupils for their efforts.
Year 6 pupil Gwilym Howarth said: 'I really enjoyed racing my friends on the common whilst I knew we were raising money for a good cause.'
And the school has raised £917.35 in sponsorship for the charity.
Saffron Bray, a school governor who organised the Race for Life, is now looking forward to making it an annual event.
She said: 'One of the HLTAs, Emma Warne, suggested to me that we take part in the Race for Schools and I agreed it would be a great idea to encourage the children to combine their exercising with fundraising for a worthwhile charity. It was a wonderful event and the children made such an effort to raise as much money as possible through sponsorship. They ran enthusiastically and I was extremely proud of them all.'
