A dog lover is hoping to raise funds for hounds when she pounds the streets of London this spring.
Kate Brewster is set run the Virgin London Marathon on April 21.
She will be raising funds for the Snetterton Dogs Trust, where she works, when she takes part in the 26.2-mile event.
The 28-year-old from Bunwell hopes to raise £3,000 for the charity.
Mrs Brewster, whose husband Tom is also taking part, said: “I’m really excited, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.
“The London marathon is such an iconic race. My dad did it when I was six or seven and I remember going to watch him and the atmosphere was amazing.”
The supporter relations officer has been out training up to five days a week and runs with her dogs Dusty and Dalton.

Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a garden pond today.
