A Calendar Girls play is celebrating a charity success after ending its run.
The production at Sheringham Little Theatre played to full houses, and topped £1,350 for Leukaemia Research.
Film taken at the theatre - including the cast meeting original WI calendar girl Angela Baker - whose husband’s death sparked the story - is due to be shown on this Wednesday’s BBC television One Show, with six members of the cast also visiting the studio.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
