A Sheringham woman who suffered a stroke at the age of just 35 has raised more than £1400 for charity, by holding an open-air yoga session at Upper Sheringham Village Hall.
Yoga teacher Emily Moll had to learn to speak and read again after having a stroke nine weeks ago.
She made a remarkable recovery and, after having speech therapy and following a gentle exercise regime, she was eager to get back to teaching yoga.
Keen to raise awareness of the condition and let people know it doesn't just affect the elderly, she came up with the idea of organising a fundraising event for the Stroke Association.
Fifty people took part in Sunday's yoga session – Ms Moll's first since recovering - with local businesses donating raffle prizes and friends baking cakes to sell.
'It was great,' Ms Moll said. 'The sun was shining and I'm really grateful to my amazing students and everyone else who supported me.'
