A Norfolk community is gearing up for a week-long festival, taking place at the end of the month.
Loddon is hosting the World of Animation Festival – taking place from October 24 to 31 – and will see the week filled with themed activities.
On October 25, at the White Horse pub in Chedgrave, there will be a family fun day with a barbecue and a free fireworks display from 5.45pm.
On October 26 there will be a grand street procession, leaving the Brian Clarke Rooms in Chedgrave at 6pm, continuing through the streets to the Jubilee Hall, Loddon. Included in the parade will be the Funky Feet Dancers, stilt walkers, a marching band and cadets.
And from 2pm, at the Jubilee Hall, there will be arts and craft stalls, entertainment, a DJ and live music in the evening, as well as hot and cold food served all day.
On October 28, from 10am to 12pm, there will be a free family fun day at the Jubilee Hall.
Leading up to the festival, on October 18 at 7pm, Loddon Mill Arts will be hosting a production of Dracula, presented by Keepers Daughter Theatre Company.
