Notcutts Garden Centre in Norwich is holding a series of half-term Halloween events from this Saturday.

A pumpkin competition, mask making and even 'spooky ghoul's hunt' are all amongst the activities at the Daniels Road garden centre.

From Saturday until next Wednesday the 'spooky ghoul's hunt' activities will be held all day, with six scary characters for children to track down in return for a sweet treat.

There will also be a pumpkin carving and decorating competition between 10am and midday every day between Saturday and Wednesday.

The carved creations will then be showcased in a 'rogues' gallery' and the Notcutts team will be looking to crown their 'Pump-King of the Year 2012' and give away some prizes.

Between 10am and midday on Sunday there will also be a mask making event, where Notcutts staff will help children create and decorate their own haunting Halloween masks.

On Monday there will be a Halloween fancy dress day, with prizes up for grabs for the best costumes, while there will be a 'guess the number of jelly snakes' competition running between Saturday and Wednesday.

It will cost 50p per guess, with all proceeds donated to Notcutts' chosen charity, Greenfingers, and has a huge jar of jelly snakes up for grabs for the winner.

Between 10am and midday on Tuesday there will also be apple bobbing and the events will continue throughout half-term.
