Many people across the region woke up to a light dusting of snow this morning, and it’s set to stay cold and rather cloudy today with a few flurries and temperatures of 1-3C.
Snow fell across east Norfolk and in Norwich and there was also a light covering of snow on cars in Wymondham.
Snow has also started to fall in Great Yarmouth although there has been little in Waveney, with just a few flakes falling.
Chris Bell, forecaster with Weatherquest, based at the UEA, said on Twitter that it would very cold for this afternoon’s Norwich versus Everton Premier League match at Carrow Road.
He said on Twitter: “Match-time forecast for #NCFC - Cloudy with a very cold NE’ly wind and a few snow flurries. Temps 1-2C, but feeling like -3C.”
