People in Fakenham can buy fish and chips from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for the next three days.

Staff at Drifters fish and chip shop, on Oak Street, will be dressed as the pantomime favourites today, tomorrow and Saturday as they continue their long-running support for the BBC Children in Need appeal.

They have dressed in wacky outfits every year for the appeal for the last 10 years and raised a total of around £15,000 in that time.

Last year they wore the costumes of super heroes and have previously dressed as giant babies.

This year, to encourage people to donate, all seven male members of staff have agreed to have their legs waxed if the shop raises £2,000 or more.

Andrew Felton, co-owner of Drifters, said: 'We were going to dress in pyjamas but decided that wasn't whacky enough.'

He added: 'The public has really supported us a lot over the years and helped us raise a fantastic amount of money for the BBC Children in Need appeal.

'I really hope they come out and support us again this year.

'The guys will be getting their legs waxed if we reach £2,000, so hopefully that will give people some added incentive to donate.'
