The day, which will raise money for the RNLI, will see the 11am launch of the resort’s all-weather boat Lester (pictured) and inshore craft George and Muriel from the end-of-pier lifeboat station.

All-day attractions will include a variety of stalls, a falconry and owl display, treasure hunt, children’s activities, demonstrations by lifeguards and the North Norfolk Surf Lifesaving Club, and an appearance by RNLI mascot Stormy Stan.

At 3pm there will be a lifeboat service in the pier boathouse, followed by a concert featuring the Sheringham Shantymen.
