Scarecrows get set to take over Loddon in fairy tale themed festival

Loddon and District Business Association is organising a Scarecrow Festival and Trail entitled “Festival of Fairy Tales” next weekend.
It is being held on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15.
There is still time for residents, business owners and representatives of other organisations in the south Norfolk town to take part in what is always a popular fun event.
For anyone wanting to learn more about how to make a scarecrow help is at hand.
To help construct a stunning scarecrow just bring your own materials or use some provided this Sunday, June 8, from 2pm to 5pm, at Brian Clarke Rooms, Chedgrave.

The Loddon Open Gardens also takes place on June 14 and 15, from noon to 5pm.
The £5 entry programmes (under 16s free) are on sale on the day from Holy Trinity Church, or in advance from Loddon Garden and DIY Centre and The Church Benefice Office.
There will be Open Gardens around the town, plus refreshments and stalls at Holy Trinity Church and St John’s Church. Proceeds will be in aid of the Church in Loddon. Come along and enjoy the combination of Open Gardens and a Scarecrow Festival and Trail.
