Police are appealing for information from members of the public after jewellery was stolen in a burglary.

It happened at an address in the Hestley Green area near Eye between 8.45am and 11pm on Friday, January 27.

The home was broken into and searched. Among the possessions taken were items of jewellery including a Rolex watch and various other items of jewellery of high value.

Police officers are now investigating the break-in and are keen to hear from anyone who may have noticed any suspicious behaviour in or around the area on January 27, or anyone who may have been offered items of jewellery for sale since.
