Age is just a number for Rhoda West who is still attends weekly keep fit classes at 90.
Mrs West, who has just celebrated her birthday, has been a regular at Val Barnes’ Fitness League classes for over 50s at Hempton Memorial Hall, near Fakenham, for 24 years.
She said: “I just came along one week with a friend and haven’t stopped.
“I like everything about the classes.
“They are fun and they help me in all aspects of my life.
“I feel energetic and fit - I can’t believe that I’m 90 to be honest.”
Mrs West, who has lived in Colkirk since 1983, added; “Val is a lovely lady and a great instructor.
“She makes the classes fun and not too serious and doesn’t put people under too much pressure to do things that they don’t feel they can do.
“I hope to continue coming here for many years to come.”
Mrs Barnes, who lives in Fakenham, said: “Rhoda is an absolute star - she is an inspiration to people.
“To keep coming here for so long shows a lot of commitment.
“I know she loves the social aspect to it all as well.”
