Keith Dixon and Sasha Gurrey (pictured) join a board which is responsible for determining Victory’s strategic direction and policies, directing and controlling its work, along with ensuring that it achieves its aims and provides value for money.

Mr Dixon lives in North Walsham and works as the quality manager for a Norfolk-based engineering construction contracting organisation.

Active in the local community, he has served on North Walsham Town Council, where he chaired the planning committee before becoming mayor. He also led the successful campaign to save North Walsham Hospital in 2007.

Sasha Gurrey has lived in north Norfolk for about seven years. She lives in Salthouse, and works for Children’s Services as a supervised contact and home-based support worker in child protection. She is a qualified fitness instructor and swimming teacher.

Trust chairman Clare Barter said the involvement of residents in the way Victory was run was an important part of ensuring it was meeting their needs, and that included them being board members.

  • So these two people both seem to have good jobs yet they live in VH houses! I thought Victory Housing provided houses for people that NEED it, at least that's what they say when they pave over lovely parts of Norfolk? Snouts in the trough?
