Eee those were the days, 92-93, when a team of home-grown players, and a small fan base could reach the dizzy heights. That's before the foreign billionaires started running clubs at a loss and spending silly money on overpriced imports earning impossible salaries. Interestingly though, we worry about City's inability to score goals, but in 92-93 despite coming 3rd, we finished with a goal difference of MINUS 4 !
