I want to complain about this content:

  • Of course it means something to people outside the UEA,we are not the straw chewing morons the media types like to stereotype us as,even if we yod drop and glottal stop.Last week I read Sebald's Austerlitz and Angus Wilson's Anglo Saxon Attitudes -it adds a little interest to know the authors spent some time in Norwich. The city of Literature status is a wonderful thing, more to life than Primark, Aviva and " nothing but facts". Besides, Norwich is ideally placed to be a draw for middle class tourist, looking for something more than tans and tat, the City of Literature status can only be good.
