David Powell, of Woodside Avenue, Dersingham, was a passenger in a Vauxhall Corsa which ploughed into a field and overturned in the early hours of September 29.

The former Smithdon High School pupil died at the scene and has been remembered by classmates as a caring, happy and fun young man.

Three other men travelling in the Corsa were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn with minor injuries following the crash, which happened at about 12.25am.

Officers would particularly like to speak to the three or four people who stopped at the crash site in a small, dark-coloured hatchback.

It is thought at least one other vehicle drove past the spot, near the Norfolk Lavender Service Station.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Shane Schucroft in the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.

A 19-year-old local man arrested in connection with the crash and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
