THE country's most idiosyncratic rapper says he has given up the booze and drugs after moving from his native East London to the Kent suburbs.
Dizzee Rascal (pictured) says he is totally sober at the moment, having
forsaken alcohol, drugs and going out in favour of staying in at his new home in Chislehurst.
He told a national newspaper: "'I'm not having any alcohol. No weed. I'm not doing anything - except some boxing to release energy.
"I'm tired of partying."
"The same people, the same chat. I like staying in. I'm that kind of guy."
Dizzee was named best British male at February's Brit Awards, where he
performed with Florence and the Machine. They sang a mash-up of their songs Dirty Cash and You've Got the Love.
After winning the award, he told the crowd: "It's about time as well."
Police in Norwich have launched an investigation after a woman claimed in a tweet she had knocked a cyclist off their bike.
