The village church in Horsham St Faith was busy this weekend as the St Faith's Festival was held on Saturday and Sunday.
With a flower festival based on a theme of the psalms of the King James Bible, stalls, refreshments and children's activities, there was plenty to keep around 200 people entertained.
Robert Carey, one of the festival's organisers, said: 'Saturday was very busy and the ladies who worked in the kitchen were very busy serving lunches for about three hours.
'The main aim of the event was for it to be a community event for people in the village and even further afield just to be able to have a look around the church and to show the church is there for people to use, that it is not just a building, it does have a purpose.
'We had a fair bit going on and I think the whole event can be regarded as a success.'
