  • Agreed about broadband. Norfolk councillors are not bright and it shows. In the main they just follow along with anything they are told to ensure they are asked to stand again. The Conservatives and Labour are the worst offenders. Looking at the Tories overall it is a miracle they are in power. An intelligence test (even a watered down Norfolk version) would reveal a few surprises. At least two of them are unable to read and write properly. Frightening isn’t it ?

  • Broadband is old news. Latest from Ann Steward is better mobile coverage closely followed by a photo opportunity at Hethel where she is spending more public money to buy votes for May. I'll cry if she isn't re-elected.

  • Ultra fast broadband for Norfolk. Drives me nuts that one. The County Councillors are so dim they think that only Norfolk is getting this and they believe everything the Council publicity machines churns out. Virtually all the counties in England are getting money to speed up their broadband (yes, Councillors, there are other counties in England, do I have to explain where England is?) and very many of them are way way ahead of the slowcoaches here in getting it sorted. I think this lot are being a bit economical with la verite on this and if they print it on their leaflets I shall be having interesting conversations with the Electoral Commission as you are not allowed to tell out and out lies on your campaign literature.

  • Norfolk taxpayers should look to the Yarmouth Outer Harbour Inquiry due to start in April. The PIM yesterday saw the port authority tell the inspector they would put up no witnesses. That means that neither the inspector or opponents can challenge the documentary case put forward. • Dicky we have taken on board all your comments and reminding the public not to get too complacent. Eastleigh election is a wakeup call and by May could see many safe Tory seats obliterated by virtue of UPKIP protest vote. Candidates will now have to prepare campaign leaflets and the topic of the day will be the Burner. It will not wash councillors recycling old news of how they are fighting for ultra fast broadband mixed with austerity measures in Norfolk.

  • Eastleigh by-election was a disaster for the Tories. The same pattern will be prominent this May county elections and negative vibes from the public inquiry will send shivers down the spines of voters.

  • Of course you are a Tory D ickens. Nobody could be as nasty and unpleasant and desperately worried about the incinerator not succeeding and NOT be a tory. So on the Mother Ship you get and head off to Planet Nasty where you so clearly belong. We will miss you because everyone has enjoyed laughing at you.

  • As for flooding in this area be aware that almost every application is considered a flood risk because the entire region is below sea level. It is not something that is considered at all important. Just a box that needs to be highlighted and ticked. What hope has a campaign got if they are not even aware of the basics ?

  • Fenscape you are SO right about our friend Di.ckens not only is he helping objectors but he is doing massive harm to the conservative group at County. I must admit I felt daft when I realised the reason his name has to be split is because the moderation program finds the first 4 letters of his name offensive! Personally I am sure many people find his comments offensive but lets hope he carries on helping us. The crack about fishwives was a corker, her indoors says she will proudly be called a fishwife by that t.at but would hold her head in shame if she was called a Twinhatter!

  • This planning application is like no other. Borderline on Flooding, Air quality, proximity principle to name a few. You may think this is a long drawn out inquiry, when a disaster does happen who goes to jail. This is reinforced as Cory Wheelabrators long history of fraud and pollution. Ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law. Be warned.

  • I was talking to a soldier in King's Lynn a while back, he had been fighting in wars in different countries around the world. He said he saw children lying dead in the streets. He told me how they died, but I will not repeat this here as it is to distressing.. He said to me that Norfolk County Council ignore 65.516 people. He said he gets really emotional about that. When you go to war and fight for Democracy in other countries. Then you return home and to be treated like this is just too much, he was crying as he spoke to me. Norfolk County Council do not feel any remorse, they have no morals.

  • How much are County Council paying their witnesses and Cory's out of public monies to lie about the "merits" of a monstrosity that the overwhelming majority of the public do not want? By the way, vote for ME in May! I promise to stop the incinerator and have the offenders thrown in the Tower.

  • The two evening sessions for the public should be a good laugh. The anti brigade fish wives never fail to deliver and will no doubt turn up en masse to drive the last nails into the campaigns chances. The Inspector will need her ear plugs and some knitting for those two evenings. Should be hilarious. One can always rely on Joe Soap and Joe Public to stick their feet in it.

  • Warning bells still ringing loud and clear. From the start NCC should have informed the public CW has been fined for fraud and polluting. They have left themselves wide open to scrutiny for not divulging serious significant facts. If you applied for a job at NCC you would need at least a reference of previous employment and you must divulge any criminal past if any. There has been no transparency what so ever and now we hear NNC are not prepared to divulge delicate information must set alarm bells ringing. We know manipulation has been used to undermine the leader of KLWNBC Nick Daubney via BBC Radio Norfolk kevingate in turn to undermine the anti-incinerator campaign. Put this into context of Chris Huhne for speeding offence and Andrew Mitchell plebgate puts kevingate in the realms of the Murdoch and Leverson.
