Villagers on the Norfolk-Suffolk border were without power for most of Saturday after trees fell on to overhead lines.
UK Power Networks said more than 500 homes were affected in the Blo Norton area, near Diss, following the power cut at about 7.15am.
The power cut affected homes in Blo Norton, Garboldisham, Thelnetham and Hinderclay.
A spokesman for UK Power Networks said power was returned to the majority of customers within half an hour.
Power was restored to the remaining 207 homes by 2.45pm.
The spokesman apologised for the inconvenience.
