Norwich City supporters are mourning the loss of former manager John Bond today - and we want your happy memories of one of the most popular managers in the Canaries' history.

Bond was in charge at Carrow Road for seven years, leading the club to promotion from Division Two and a Wembley final in his first full season in charge.

While tributes are pouring in on social media networks Twitter and Facebook, including football writer at the Daily Telegraph, Henry Winter, who write: 'Sad news about John Bond passing away. Charismatic manager who nurtured attractive teams. Thoughts with his family.'

Norwich City chief executive David McNally tweeted: 'Very sorry to hear the tragic news. John Bond, true NCFC legend and Hall of Famer. Thinking of his family and friends today.'

Former West Ham defender Julian Dicks took to Twitter to say: 'My condolences to the family of John Bond, who was my manager at Birmingham City. Truly a fantastic man and a pleasure to work for. RIP John.'

While broadcaster Richard Keys tweeted: 'John Bond dies - aged 79 after a long fight against illness. RIP John - proper football man.'
