East Anglia’s rural business membership body the Country, Land and Business Association is backing a ‘pie’tition to change the official meaning of ‘pie’ to include those without the traditional pastry lid. Just when is a pie a pie and not a tart or a flan?
We would like to hear your views on what defines a pie. Do you believe a pie cannot be a pie without a lid, or is it time to relax the rules and let shepherds pie and fish pie join their pastry-laden brethren?
