Norwich City officials have confirmed the club’s Capital One Cup fourth round away tie at Manchester United will take place on Tuesday, October 29 (7.45pm).
Tickets for the game will go on general sale from 9am on Friday via the club’s usual ticket outlets. Tickets are priced at £46 per person for adults with a series of age-related concessions as follows - £36.50 per person (aged 18 to 20), £27 per person (aged 16 and 17 and over 65s) and £5 per person for under 16s, who must be accompanied by an adult. The club have also announced selected special offers will be available for the trip. Full details on the club’s official site. Club Canary coach travel is priced at £25 (£24 for season ticket holders) per person with coaches set to depart from outside the Jarrold Stand at 12.30pm on the day of the game.
City duo Russell Martin and Robert Snodgrass have been included in Scotland’s 24-man squad for their final World Cup qualifier against Croatia at Hampden on October 15 but there is no place for the suspended Steven Whittaker.
Twitter has seen many Norwich City fans voice their thoughts:
@pinkun ouch £46 for a cup tie away from home no wonder why teams dont sell out on these games way to expensive with travel costs on top.
@jamie6n @pinkun not paying that for a 500 mile round trip on a Tuesday night. Shocking

I could spend £46 on a ticket to see Norwich play United at Old Trafford in the Capital One Cup... or, I could not. #FansPricedOutOfFootball
But not all have been so negative:
