I want to complain about this content:

  • No one should be turning away from meat. They should be turning away from processed foods and buying British meat with confidence. If they use their local butcher and see the quality of the meat and the paperwork he has to have they can have every confidence, whether it is minced meat or joints or whatever. Even in supermarkets shoppers should be confident that their braising steak was mooing not long ago as long as they buy British. I don't know what John has got against Norfolk farmers but his sort of comment does not help, and it certainly does not help that the EDP has failed to carry articles pointing out the traceability and quality of meat sold in butcher shops. Look East carried a very fair news item-but not the EDP reporters, they are bunny huggers more interested in slagging farmers off.
