I want to complain about this content:

  • Norwich council stole the beautiful historic stock market site from the Castle Bailey, ruined the area completely despoiling it by allowing the developers of the now superseded Castle Mall to erect the most vile buildings, pull down those associated with the old streets and create a park area so bland it could be on a roundabout in Slough. Now they want to cut all ties with the past, all ties with the agriculture of the county of Norfolk and renege on promises to provide a cattle market . Norwich councillors never did care properly for their city but in this affair the hand of Dacre seems to strike again. How did he come to buy part of the site that the cattle market occupies? Did he buy it from the council, why did they not compulsory purchase it if they knew they had to provide a cattle market? Too cosy with Dacre they are.
