@ MediaDoc - " No one can say what the situation will be after the next election." So why has Miliband acted rather rashly today and ruled out a referendum full stop. Your arguments about DC therefore are as equally valid for Ed Miliband refusing to hold a referendum when he doesn`t know what the future holds anymore than the rest of us..
