I want to complain about this content:

  • @BG, check out tory party doners if you want to find something sinister. And while you are about it let's cut through the 'Labour left the country skint’ myths with some real facts from HM Treasury and the ONS. Labour inhertited £350bn debt from the tories. During the next 13 years Labour had to make interest payments on this debt of £342bn, which would have been even higher if Labour hadn't made the prudent choice of repaying £60 bn of the tory's debts at the start of Labour's first term. This debt repayment cut the interest payments and freed up more government income ongoing to invest in the economy, schools, hospitals, the police, etc. Why Labour left office with a ton of debt was the response required to save the banks following the global economic collapse, fuelled by the actions of the troy's bankster mates, who are still getting away with it. Note the complete absence of any discussion on global banking reforms to stop this ever happening again since the torys came to power. Their funders would be in uproar - an unregulated verging on corrupt system is what funds their profits and in turn tory party donations.
