After two weeks of disruption, waste, recycling and garden rubbish collections are expected to return to normal from today in north Norfolk.

Homes that did not have their recycling bins emptied during the week commencing January 14 can leave any additional recyclables next to the green recycling bin in a clear plastic bag or cardboard box.

A spokesman for North Norfolk District Council, which sub-contracts the collections to Kier, said: 'We will also be collecting a reasonable amount of garden waste left in sacks beside the brown bins.'

NNDC has arranged a number of community collection points for residents to collect clear sacks in which they can leave their extra recyclables. Residents can collect up to four clear sacks from:
