The latest poll conducted by ComRes reveals that nearly half of the population, 49pc, believes culture secretary Jeremy Hunt should resign over allegations he was passing information to News Corp during negotiations over its bid to takeover BSkyB.
Just 16pc disagree and 35pc are not sure. The news underlines just how “brave” David Cameron’s strong defence of his minister in the Commons just now was.
Three in five, 60pc, agree that there should be an independent inquiry into whether or not Hunt did anything wrong. Again just 16% disagree, and 24% do not know.
Meanwhile nearly three quarters, 73pc, think politicians are too close to the media, but 69pc say this is nothing new.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.

How can you call for someones head when nothing has been proven? There is a on-going enquiry and if it is proven that he did wrong I am sure Cameron will take the appropriate action.
