So much was happening last week in Manchester that I neglected to post about this, but it must go up simply because it’s so cheeky.
Norwich North Labour candidate Jess Asato was out collecting donations for her campaign to unseat Chloe Smith.
She and her team all donned specially made T-shirts. Take a closer look at the picture on them. That’s right; it’s a screen shot of Smith’s infamous run in with Jeremy Paxman on Newsnight. Gloves off.
Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a garden pond today.

Milecross - She is following the trend set by Ed - taking the mick, but no talk of an actual policy. Let`s just hope she`s a better speaker than the all girls self appointed leader, Harriet.

What Ms Asato needs her chums to wear are T shirts with the motto "The voting age for Britain is 18 not 16" Just to remind her since in one of the puff pieces in the EDP she waxed lyrical about voting at the age of 16. If that is true then naughty naughty. If not true, then what was the point of telling us such a bizarre story? I think we'll find Chloe Smith knows the age at which one can vote. Perhaps a University Challenge type quiz for the both of them though not with the usual chair!

Bit lost on the majority of people in Norwich North I would have thought. If I was Chloe I would put up a large advertising board with a picture of Ms Asato and her mentor Tessa Jowell. That should do the trick.
