Community groups are being reminded by Broadland District Council that the closing date to apply for funding from its Community Grant scheme is approaching.
Applications for the grants, a maximum of £20,000, must be received by Wednesday, March 7.
To be eligible, projects must cost more than £2,000 with a maximum 25pc available for non-capital support up to £20,000.
Capital projects costing more than £2,500 can qualify for up 20pc to a maximum grant of £10,000. Training sessions can also be offered to voluntary groups.
Cllr Jo Cottingham, portfolio holder for communities and housing at the district council, said: “Previous grants have supported a wide range of projects from after school activities, community transport and improvements to village halls.
“In these hard times people have less money to donate. We hope the new grants will keep valuable services going and create new ones.
“Local people know what their communities need and these grants will help them provide it.”
