Police have warned people not to try walking on the frozen boating lake in Eaton Park, Norwich.
Officers said they had already told off a “couple of lads” for attempting to walk on it, and said the ice was not as solid as it looks.
Using the Twitter account @NorwichPoliceUK, they wrote: “This may look solid but don’t risk walking on it as someone already has!”
Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a garden pond today.

Foxey, yes i was a kid, and yes i did some stupid things, walking on very thin ice was not one of them, they are described as a couple of lads, obviously old enough to be out on their own,so old enough to know the risks

Doubt if they will drown in the boating pond, might get their shoes or socks wet though.

If people want to walk on thin ice, let them, if they are that stupid in the first place i am pretty sure that their contribution to man-kind will not be missed.

The fact is , when you go though the ice you can go in at an angle therefore sliding under the ice, disoriented you cant find the break in the ice you came though . Please don't do it .

Well that's clever tell 'em not to and they moer than likely will now! Some people just don't have the braincells to think about the dangers involved.
